Clermont Chamber of Commerce's Membership Retention Committee (Ambassadors) Appoints Sara Pearson Specter to Fundraising Sub-Committee

Cincinnati, OH (April 4, 2003)—Sara Pearson Specter, owner of Moxie Marketing LLC, has been appointed to the Clermont Chamber of Commerce (CCC) Fundraising Sub-Committee, a part of the Membership Retention Committee (Ambassadors). Specter will work with Ambassadors and fellow sub-committee members Susan Lamb of CompEast Solutions, and Taft Hall of Taft Hall Insurance, to develop and conduct fundraising efforts on behalf of the Membership Retention Committee. Fundraising will be conducted at CCC networking events and golf outings.

The Membership Retention Committee assists with the planning and execution of networking opportunites for CCC members. Other duties include marketing the CCC to potential members, welcoming new members and helping with membership retention through personal contact. The 17-member committee is staffed voluntarily by current CCC members and supervised by staff liaisons Don Schlunt and Julie Graybill.

Since joining the CCC in May 2002, Specter has been very involved in the organization's activities in addition to her duties as an Ambassador, attending and volunteering at several functions. Additionally, she was nominated for two CCC Small Business Awards in December: New Member of the Year and Emerging Small Business.

Specter opened Moxie Marketing LLC in July 2001. The full-service marketing communications company works with a broad range of business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies. Services offered include advertising, copywriting, creative development, event planning, graphic design, media planning, public relations, and strategic planning.
